I am no movie buff! I rarely watch movies at the cinema because I don’t have much time or I am too tired after a long day or I don’t feel like going alone at night (it gets dangerous for me to go alone).

But every time I am here in Cambridge, we will be heading for the cinema ever so often to catch the latest movies (no complaints here at all!) We will Netflix and chill. He will also make me watch a lot of other movies especially the ones he loves. Cute I tell ya!

We were recently watching Sierra Burgess is a Big Loser on Netflix. A really good movie. Talks about character, personality and beliefs. I really did not expect it to be that good but you ought to watch it if you have the time.

The movie made me reflect, especially her song SUNFLOWER! It got me thinking. If I was an object or a living thing other than a human-being what would I be?

Onion! I would be an onion!

Odd? Most probably to you it is. But to me, an onion is a great representation of me!

There are many layers to an onion, the more you peel the more you learn. An onion also ignites flavour from whatever you are cooking. It compliments the dishes too.

Onions are also strong as their own. They can be eaten as is. It can be eaten raw or cooked. It’s so versatile!

And NO, I don’t smell like an onion!
