19 for 2019

Happy 2019!

I feel and know that this year will be my year! Woohoo! Here are my 19 for 2019. Not goals per se but just a list of what is needed to be implemented into my day to day habits.

  1. Drink 2 litres of water daily.
  2. Purchase a proper sunscreen.
  3. Get back on the serum and massage routine.
  4. 7-8 hours of sleep.
  5. A book a month (minimum).
  6. A new recipe a month.
  7. Try out pilates.
  8. Go for a weekly swim.
  9. Workout twice a week (minimum).
  10. Learn to save and invest.
  11. Cut out all negative things and beings.
  12. Travel even more.
  13. Work smarter.
  14. Print photos and frame/album them up.
  15. Purge clothes and heels.
  16. Bring my telekung when I am out. Recite the Yasin every Thursday night.
  17. Plan a family trip.
  18. Reconnect with old (good) friends.
  19. Blog more consistently.

Anew

The new Islamic calendar has just kicked in. I personally feel Islam is a beautiful religion that gives its disciples many opportunities to reset and repent.

Throughout the Islamic calendar, there are many days that allows us to reset, change ourselves for the better.

Sadly, I wasn’t able to fast on the said day. But Alhamdulillah I did manage to say my prayers. I hope to be a better Muslim  in this world and hereafter. Pray more consistently. Donate more. Do more charity work (kinda miss it).

Anyways, I’m looking forward to a new year that is looking pretty amazing right about now. Alhamdulillah.
