I couldn’t wait to turn 18, it wasnt because I was glad that school was done and dusted. It was my green light to drink coffee. 

Growing up I watched in much admiration of how my father would make himself a rich and aromatic cup of Nescafe Gold Blend after every meal. It smelt like heaven. I would sniffle the sweet scent in such pleasure. 

I would constantly ask him for a teaspoon full to taste it. Boy, did I feel so happy and mature.
