Dramatic November

09112009, Monday

I had an early day, I promised Zaha that I would help him be a facilitator for a PO event. Liyana, Juan and I went to help. It was a lot of fun. Meeting new people from JWT and the PO too. It was just so cute watching all of the PO staff interacting and having fun in their first ever training. I was actually shocked to watch them. Never did expect them to be so eager. Participating in all the quizzes. What a sporting crowd. I should have taken pictures with Liyana my cute little doctor. But I totally forgot. I got home rather tired though it was a half day job. So, I slept my day off ;p

10112009, Tuesday

I took grams for her monthly eye check up. I was glad to know that her eye pressure has reduced. Finally, I was getting rather worried for her. Hehe. We had to wait so long for the check up as the doctor conveniently went for a tea break in between. Right after the appointment, I drove off in jiffy to pick up Aizat from school. We were all rather hungry. So I asked grams what she felt like eating and took her for a treat. She was so happy that she ate so much. Glad she had a good lunch. She spent more time at our place before going back to TTDI. I then continued with my weekly picture taking. So boring, I dread it at times. Haish.

11112009, Wednesday

Check out the cool date yo! Haha. So I managed to catch 11:11 to make a wish. Just for the sake of it honestly. I went to get some gifts for mum’s kindy kids. It was really fun to go into a kid’s store. So many colourful things to look at. I almost started buying unnecessary things for myself. Got myself a handphone socks. So colourful. Even Aizat wants it. So off we went home with all the purchases. I got myself an awesome envelope clutch.

After doing all that I had my usual “nap”. Hehe. The weather was just too perfect to resist.

When I got up, then did I realize I had to finish editing my images. So I pushed myself and was a good girl to finish it all off til the wee hours.

13112009, Thursday

Woke up at 8 to upload everything onto jujuwiwitata’s. Was so glad to get it done and over with. Blast out updates and headed out to the PO. So mum came home, helped her with the kids and then headed off to the supplier with mum and dad. I was already so so tired. I had to meet up with a couple of friends for tea. I postponed it til 6. On my way to KL, I noticed my car was making a lot of noise. But I totally ignored it. Suddenly a car flashed dad, we pulled to the side only to notice a bad ass flat tire. Sigh. We decided to change the wheels there, got out of the car, opened the boot and walaa. No toolbox. Thank you la my “friend” for borrowing and never returning it. Had to jump back into the car and drive as slow as a turtle to the nearest petrol kiosk. My god, talk about drama. Here you go drama overload.

I couldn’t help my dad and the nice pakcik to change the tyre because I was wearing a rather short white dress. Of all days ain’t it? Finally it was done. I was just so annoyed, angry, sad, mixed emotions. Couldn’t think of what to do. Thus, I drove off to get my tyre fixed. No such luck though. It was ripped. Wonder how that happened. Sigh. Had to fork out money to get new ones.

Rushed home, had a shower and got dressed to meet up with my fellow friends at OU. I really wanted to back out but in good faith I went. It was such a good thing I went. Had a lot of fun catching up and talking about various interesting mind boggling issues.

13112009, Friday

Friday the 13th, it’s Shazna’s birthday. Happy 24th babe!

I ran more of my errands today. My gf, Mot is back from her Euro trip as well. So happy. I was suppose to meet up with Mot and Liyana but I was knackered. So off to bed I went. =)

14112009, Saturday

I was out with my mum. Doing some girly stuff and a little shopping. Had a good tea at Marche before heading out to OU yet again. There were so many people there. Little did I know, it was the Fly FM anniversary. That explains a lot ain’t it. Young kids were flocking here and there. Did a bit of window shopping and then it was time for dinner. It was a great day. Haven’t gone out in a while. Spending time with mum was fun.

15112009, Sunday

Was suppose to meet up with the girls at Palate Pallate, but a few minutes before I left home. Shazna called to cancel.  Did we all get worked up over it? NO! Instead Liz, Liyana, Mot and I decided to still meet up. We were already dress up. Why let it go to waste? Liz was picking Liyana up while I was picking Mot up. Met up at pavillion. Had a simple dinner at the foodcourt because we wanted to utilise the table. We were in for a long chat. So yip yap yap yap we went for a whole 2-3 hours. Here’s a few pictures that we took. Not so great but it’ll do.

Exactly a week ago, my close friend Ummi left for Japan. It’s her final semester before she graduates. Us girls decided to go for a goodbye dinner at Delicious, Dua Residency for some girly time.

Til death do us part.

Til death do us part.

It was truly fun. A lot of catching up after the long Ramadhan. Everybody was less busy then. Liyana stay on in KL though she was having her finals. How sweet of her. If you thought that was sweet, imagine her driving all the way back to Malacca right after the dinner.

All of us really had a blast dressing up and taking pictures. Hehe.

It’s different now that Ummi is no longer around. Nobody to text randomly to ask out. Nobody to drive around. She’s a good co-pilot by the way. I grew close to her over the six months that she was home. We weren’t classmates nor did we hang out a lot together. But we instantly clicked. She lives a couple of minutes away from me. It was good to finally have someone who lives close. I could just call up and say “Hey, want to grab a drink?”

I felt an attachment with her after talking to her about her mother. It was a painful journey for her and her family. I don’t know why, but I felt her pain as well. Losing someone dear to you is really painful, it’s like you yourself have died alongside with them. It’s worst than a break up.

So now, she’s back in Japan. Reunited with her sweet ass boyfriend. Hope you are all good that. Having fun. Enjoying student life. Say Hi to Izyan. Study smart. Come back quick. We’ll all have more fun. Til I see you again my dear Ummi San.

With the birthday girl

With the birthday girl

A week ago, my girlfriends and I decided to have a lil surprise celebration for Liza. We wanted to have a picnic yet most of us weren’t free. So a meet up over tea was what we settled for. It was held at the perfectly pretty location of Garden Cafe, One Utama.

I’ve been wanting to go there since forever. It always looked so pretty.  A secret garden well hidden deep within a hustling bustling mall. Sounds perfect to me. So off us girls went there, got some hats and blowers to surprise Liz and not to forget a mini cake ;p The cake was so small yet cute. Just the right size for the five of us.

Liz was turning 24. Just like the rest of us. We waited ever so patiently for her to arrive. But she spotted us on her way in. Dang, but oh well. She was so shy and stunt when we took out the cake and sang for her the birthday song. Hehe.

It was truly a simple suprise but the crowd was what matters most to us. We had a super duper great time. Oh let me mention to you that the food there was great. The portion was big. And…the deco was so lovely. I’ve always been a fan of country deco. Just the way my house is. So going into a wooden white English country garden was so magical for me.  A few of my gfs were talking about throwing a wedding there. It would look really nice there. Here are a few pictures of us and the venue.

An Eventful Weekend

Last weekend was a great one for me. It truly was eventful. So many things happening. I really didn’t expect much. But it was great. It kept me smiling till today =D

Saturday – Afternoon

I attended a wedding with my mum, Kak Umi and Chichi. It was a Malay wedding held at Felda Villa. I’ve never been there and I must say it’s a very beautiful place. Outdoor restaurants with a gazebo in the center court.

Right after the wedding, we headed for KLCC. Gift scouting for a party that night. It’s been a while since I’ve set foot in KLCC. There’s more than 10 new shops. They even have Harrods. Wehoo.  It was really cute watching Chichi and Kak Umi snapping photos there. She said it’s been a very long time since she has been there. So Chichi enjoyed himself snapping pictures. Silly ones as well.

“Wild, Wild West” party. A few relatives were celebrating their birthdays together. It was Tok Zam’s, Lorena, Chor, Dino and a few others birthday. It was pure fun I tell ya. Food was scrumptious beyond words. I kept on going back for the Butter Prawn. I’ve always loved Butter Prawn ;p They were as good as the ones at Kelana Jaya Seafood. Man, I miss those days.

There was a live band performing at the party. They were pretty good. The boys sure loved them. Tummy baring girls in knee high boots ;p

It was truly a girly affair. Talked about make up, perfumes, boys, man, anak ikan, future, relationship and the whole girly stuff. Hehe. Giggled. Camwhored. Though I had a lot of fun, it did not feel that complete. Izyan wasn’t there. Babe, we miss you here in KL. Come home quick ok?
