I’ve had one too many cases where people around me assume certain things. Which I believe is unfair for both parties. Why so? Both parties won’t know the real deal. Fyi, there’s always too sides of the story.
Save the drama instead shall we? So ask if you’re in doubt. Or if you need an explanation. Don’t keep mum. It gets you nowhere and might hurt you both.
